Default Something Different

So this is how my car used to look:

Typical cheap drag set up, but due to me getting my CDL, and Kansas City not having a drag strip anyone I got tired of the lack of braking, handling with the skinny tires, and the high speed road vibration from the bias-ply tires. So I started looking into something different besides TT2's/Corvette Wheels/Fiske/ ect ect. Started looking around and Mustang guys LOVE True Forged wheels so I thought I'd hit them up. Come to find out they haven't done that many Fbody wheels at all. The quality my counsin told me (He used to work for a Mustang Shop) was awesome so I pulled the trigger. Longest 6 weeks of my life but SO worth it!

I got 17X9.5 +35 , and 17X11 +55 wrapped in Nitto NT05 and NT05R rubber

Quick pictures

I'm thinking a mild drop and C5 brakes up front here soon

Looks Great !
When I look at them they still have the classic 5 spoke design to me but with a twist.

Looks just like all the other split 5 spokes out there, not that thats a "bad" thing but certainly nothing new. Nice wheels.

Looks great dude. Why did you choose the nt05r over regular street tires? Do you drive it much?

Sorry I kinda half assed answered this question, I wanted the R's just because on street tires the car has massive traction issues. It's a weekend toy and doesn't get driven that much.

I'm kinda looking at Strano Performance 1.2 inch Lowering Springs

Cool, no worries dude. I kinda figured that was the reason, but you never know. Ijust did almost the same thing you did with my car. Strano/konis/wheels&tires. I got tired of the drag olny thing.

Do you have any pictures of how your car sits with Konis & Strano's? Make the car handle a lot better?

Fbody brakes are better than c5 brakes. Look up the stopping distances on car and driver

Sure do! https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...tar-shoes.html

She handles quite well. The biggest improvement I have noticed is with the Watts link. The mid corner aplication of poweris rediculous. I turn the wheel where I want and she goes.
