We have them on 8's right now with no issue, but that was because wheels were here, if I had to buy new, I'd get 10's

Thats where Im at now, just have to decide the wheels. Im going to do my research and see what wheels I can use and not grind the calipers to death.

The TA has had the calipers ground and still has to use a small spacer. It's a friends car and I don't want to grind or run a spacer on my z28. Im gonna be looking too when its time to buy a new set of drag radials. Right now I have 17's but really want to try some lighter wheels.

I think the weld rt series clears, like a S71?

Centerline Warriors will fit without grinding. The Warrior 8.5 width has 5.5 backspacing which is 2 inches less that stock wheels. The Warrior 10 inch has 6.5 backspacing which is only one inch.

BTW - these wheels are very light compared to stock chromed replica ZR1 wheels.

My Moser rearend was narrowed one inch on either side so the 5.5 backspacing didn't stick out at all with MT 275/60/15.

Centerline has more options than when I got Warriors 5 years ago.

Looks good, Thanks for posting the links. How tall is your front tire? 26?

Those pics look like a 275/50/15 don't they? My 28" slicks filled my wheel wells way tighter than that at the front and the back, they look like a 26" tire?

These are the tires on the front - yes they are 26 tall.

I stand corrected. They are 275/50/15 instead of 60's and 26 tall.

I got them nearly 5 years ago and rarely used them + I am 65 so I am allowed to forget

In fact I sold the entire set to someone in OK this weekend.

I think the pics are when the car was lowered on Sam Strano springs and Koni's Sa's- but not sure. I had those springs on and off a couple of times and finally got frustrated with my Moser and Spohn torque arm which was literally destroying the driveshaft tunnel so I took them off finally.

But also sold my Moser 12 bolt this weekend and reinstalled my original 10 bolt.

The ten bolt fits fine with plenty of clearance so the Sam Strano's are back on again. And I did it all myself. My memory might be getting bad but I can still crawl under the Z when it's on jackstands and do some not too major work.

Flipping the rearends wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
