My stock chrome 5 star Z28 rims have been sitting in the basement for awhile now. My friend with a 99 S10 wants to buy them. I don't think that they will fit on his truck. Aren't the offsets too different or will these rims work for him? His truck is a 2wd flair side S10 if that makes any difference at all.
Thanks,
Jeremy

Nope, the backspacing is way different. A friend of mine with an Extreme S-10 wanted to try out my wheels (Original SS rims). Not even close. He would have to use massive tire spacers, or whatever they call those things that bolt to the original studs, and have studs coming out of the new piece. This is bad, due to it putting a serious load on the studs, and suspension. Tell your buddy to to find something else.

I've been told (haven't tried it myself) that the 4th Gen 16x8's work well on the S-10 4x4's.
