Default 275/60/15 BFG dr's

I just picked up a set of used prostars with this tire (275/60/15) mounted on them. They look like they will a tight fit. Anyone run these tires?

Will they throw a ABS code because they are 28 inches tall?

How do the hook compared to 275/50/15's?

Thanks for the info...

the 60 series is a 28" tire versus your 26" tire on a 50 series. it will require some clearancing on the wheel well. only way to tell is to run it. lots of guys run a 28" tire. i know they hook damn hard compared to the 26" version. looks like a slick!

I need to get rid of the 10 bolt before I strap them on. I looks like the 9 inch is going to be necessary if they hook that hard.

I just can't believe how big they look.

I am getting a set of these for $15. They are almost bald. I better be damn careful on my stock 10 bolt.

I ran a 275/60/15 Nitto for a little while on 15x8 Pro Stars. They fit fine, just had to roll the fender lip. Yes, the ABS light will be on. Below are a couple of pics of them on my 2002.

How hard was it to grind the calipers enough to fit the Prostars? I really want the look, but am afraid of the grinding.

How do you roll the fender lip? Your car looks sweet with the prostars!

is it me or are the big tires sticking out beyond the fender? maybe it is just the angle?

Its just the angle, they did not stick out at all. I rolled the lip with a towel wrapped hammer.
