lol I do too.. I bought the car with the wheels and wasnt really too crazy about them, but they have definitely grown on me. They do look good when shes cleaned up nicely. But its time for a deep dish wheel in the rear, one way or another.

Buy the 18s for the rear then. Save a bit of money and get the big lip you like, the c5 dd wheels are awesome IMO. Those other wheels are just awful (respectively, in my opinion). They need to be on a beat up silver a4 or jetta.

Update: Ended up going with the 18" C5 with a pair of used 295's for now.. Honestly, I love 'em but I am looking for a 20mm adapter to push them out a tad bit more.

Thanks, I love the new look, however I do plan on getting new wheels at some point (hopefully 18's all around).. This just ended up being a pretty cost effective solution for me since all of the 17's still have good tires and I was able to get the pair of 295s for $120

I'll try to take some better pictures outide of the garage.

You couldn't have gone wrong with either wheel, both look good. Love the sunset orange!

I really did like the chrome on there as well, and I agree with a previous poster that the tires just needed to be bigger on the chrome wheels.

All in all, the car looks great either way

H&R makes some 20MM hub spacers.

Yeah, I posted in the classified section to see if anyone had a used set, but if I get no bites I'll like into ordering a new set.

I like 'em too, but the main reason I backed out was cause they were only 9" wide in the rear... My main goal here was to step up to a wider tire (at least a 295 in the rear) so I decided to hold off until I can find a better fitting set (with a little different offset).. They do look pretty neat though IMO, and definitely not something you see very often on a f-body very often--for better or worse lol.

I like the Privats for the the sole reason that it is different. F-body's all seem to have the same wheels. But you are right, you need a wider wheel out back.

Your car looks great either way!
