if your not driving a pruis then why even worry about gas mileage lol. I run 315/35 nitto Drag radials for my street tires and 275 MT's ET Streets for my drag tire. Though my car is still on the Mickey's.

It was more or less just to prove a point. If it did reduce mpg im still gonna put the 315's on. Just wanted to tell my friend that he is wrong.

Like its been said already, no way will going from a 255 tire to a 315 width will drop 5 mpg, there will not be any noticable differance in fuel milage.
