I just picked up some rims with a vette offset. 18x12 in the rear. Anyone know what size spacers to make this work because the wheel touches the car and won't go in flush. Thanks!

Default Fitment

Another oem z06 set up, 19x12 rear. It took rolling the fenders, some cutting and welding to the inner fender. Well worth it in my opinion

I'm finding the options for a cheap but nice looking 17x11 just don't exist. I have the 17x11 ZR1, but don't want to go broke on some other 17x11s. Guess I'll end up with more ZR1s and have them powder coated graphite.

What is involved in cutting the bump stops? I have Torq Thurst II 17x11 with BFG 315s. tires get stuck on the bump stops when I jack the car up, and don't want to jack it up by the differential anymore. I already have the wheels off to install new rotors, so I want to modify the bump stops too.

I've been looking into options as well. Makes jacking up the car a bit of a pain. I don't want to fully remove them though.

I bought a Dremel yesterday, and am going to see what I can do to the stock bump stops today. I will let you know what I figure out.

Would a 315 work on a 12" wheel? Too much stretch?

315 will be happier on a 12 or 12.5 than an 11, but the 335 will likely have slightly more overall grip.

a 315 will fit a 12 or 12.5 rim...?

I plan to use a 335/30/18 on 18 x 12.5".....is that a perfect fit? Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires.

i wouldn't say that for all 315s. some run little more narrow then others.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...s-picture.html

i have ran Sumitomo once in a 11in wide rim and no way in hell would i put that tire on a 12.5in rim. just to narrow for my comfort lol looked narrow even for a the 11. but on a 10.5 it looked fine.

It's not about how it looks. At least for cornering grip a tire is almost always going to be happier on a wheel that is the same width is the tires tread width. For a 335 that would mean if I could fit it I would be running a 13. I don't have room for that so 12s it is.

Those Sumitomos are crap but even then I would still put them on a 12-12.5 in a perfect world.
