I run a hoosier 325-15 and I've hooked my turbochrged firebird with 800-900 from 50mph on concrete. But ya the mickeys are just as good and last longer.

Just throw the best you got and do boost by gear. You could even go with a aftermarket fmu like pro efi with traction control and boost by gear.

Where are you guys finding these dr in 305 or wider for 17" wheels?

I googled 315/40/17 and my general consensus is that they don't exist....

Needs to be 315/35/17 or bigger. 345/35. Go to mickeythompson.com and look at the et street 2 tires for those sizes.

Well, I have Toyo R888s in 305/30/19s, with 3.73 gears and 15psi of boost on a motor that made north of 460rwhp when it was N/A (I'm sure I'm north of 650rwhp and 575 rwtq these days).

The R888s hook well, but I can still roast them whacking the throttle in second. They do hook better when warm/hot though. So a nice rolling burnout does wonders.

I plan to drop my gears back to a 3.42 and see if that helps.
