Default New Plastidipped Wheels

Bought a set of chrome ZR1's over the Summer that were pitting bad, rather then go out and buy a new set I decided plastidip them....315's in the rear, 275's up front

Looks good man!

Did you plasti-dip them with the tires on or off the rim?

Also when you put the tires back on the car did you scratch off any of the plasti-dip tightening down the lug nuts?

Had a buddy repairing some other stuff and he did them, i believe he sprayed them w/ the tires mounted and I highly doubt he scratched off any of the dip tightening the lugs.

they look good! thats the exact setup i want for my bird. when i dipped my wheels i sprayed the tires as well then it just peels off the tires in one huge piece. super easy.

He might have done the outside face only.

Same here, might go back and do the insides, this was a trial run to see if I like them.

Looks good, yea did the whole wheel because they were pitting worse inside... Plus I think it would look stupid if I didn't lol.

Will the Plastidip stay on during normal car washes? How is it removed?

Stays on till you peel it off. Wash it. Good till 300degs. Peels off
