so if i had a rear narrowed 2" per side do you all think a 15x10 w/ 5.5 would stick out too far? i noticed some of you that have 3" narrowed per side run a 1/2" spacer so it sounds to me that if a rear was narrowed 2.5" per side a 5.5bs would be perfect

Mine Narrowed 3" with a 4.5 bs with 295's. I actually had to adjust the panhard, so now in sit in another 1/4" than in this pic. I dislike the front tire location worse that the back. Talk about pokes out!
But in all honesty- If I had it to do again- i woulda had it narrowed 3.5 and run these, just love the DEEP dish. So yes- a 2.5 narrowed rear, and a 4.5 backspaced 10" wheel would sit just right, with no spacer. There is NO way I'd run any spacer on the rear of a drag setup. I already had one of the wheel studs break on my car, without a spacer...
BTW- I had to BFH mine in 2 spots and the fenders were already rolled...and still if they rub- it is on the inside at full compression. My car is dropped on BMR springs.

ah man i want that setup, nice car... im saving up for some street lites 15x10 with a 4.5bs so i guess ill be doing a -3.5" on each side of the rear end so they fit flush inside the fender. unless i should go with a -3" instead. just wondering if a -3.5" the tires or wheels will rub inside

just checking to be sure. I've read the stock axle is 63 and 3/4". So minus 3" per side is 57 and 3/4". 1/4" spacers are gonna put you at 58 and 1/4". Is this correct? I have a 9 inch hd ford axle that measures 58" with pinion centered already. Just trying to get some correct info before taking the factory axle out.

I also need this info. Can someone respond to this that actually has this setup and has measured there rear. I had a 9" made up with 3"s removed per side and 15x10x5.5bs and it does not work. I need exact rear width dimensions to make sure it was narrowed correctly. Also have 295-55-15 mt d r.

Yeah I figured I would have to hammer in wells but I have a 1-1/2 gap between axle and wheel per side!!! Want to know axle width measurement to see if axle was narrowed to much. I no longer have stock rear to go off of. Shop that did narrowing says its right but combo will not fit in car. Everyone else says it works but mine does not. Know what I meen?

I had a slight rub without the spacer if I turned hard.
