Default Are 285 GSD3's fatter than normal 285's? My 315's sure were

I just sold a set of rims that had 315 Goodyear Eagle GSD3's and like many people say, they are much fatter than normal 315's, about a half inch. I know have 18 x 9 Cragars with +36mm offset, and would really like to put the 285/35/18 GSD3's on there, but like the 315's, are these fatter than most 285's? thanks

I'll probably go with the 275/35/18's, just trying to see if I can minimize the small tire wall heighth.

oh man, that is reassuring. I went ahead and bought them today, and I've been pretty worried about the fronts. What rim and offset do you have? I have 18 x9 Cragars, with +36mm offset. I should be fine I think.
