17x11's all the way around? IIRC those are the ''deep centered" zr-1's. Correct me if I am wrong. Wheels do look good though!

Yes sir, 17x11 ZR1s with 50mm offset. Deep lug wheels up front and deep dish on the rear. I had to use a 1/4" billet spacer on the front to clear the spindle and I had to grind off a casting nub, but it handles a LOT better with the big tires up front

Thanks for the compliment, I need to get to work on the car so I can get them bolted on and see how it looks.

How are your wheel bearings holding up? Guys on Frrax go through wheel bearings like crazy racing with 17x11s on the front. Do you race or is your car a DD? The wheels look really good btw. I've got Gunmetal Grey ZR1s and the copper looks close to mine. Nice job!

I'm starting to get into some autox but they are few and far between around here. I cruise backroads a lot and there are lots of nice twistys around here. But the car is not a DD, just a really fun car to drive

I only managed to get about 750 miles on the car last year, but I will have a spare set of Timken bearings on the shelf before too long.

Thanks, I'm still not sure how I feel about the color on my wheels, I hope when I get the car back together I will like it.

I would NOT get CCWs with a lip to begin with.

I REALLY like the C10s (mostly seen on road race/'track pack' C5s/C6es), in ALL comp gray/graphite color.

Those are a badass looking wheel. Someday when I'm rich and famous I will get a set of CCW or higher end wheels.

Next year I want to get some polished 18x10.5" C5 wheels and get some custom center caps made to replace the gawdy factory cap. I may even get the rears widened to a 12 or 12.5" wheel and install mini tubs

True, BUT the 50 treadwear rated, gumball/wheel bearing stressor, Hoosier A/R6es they are using when having those "once a month" wheel bearing assembly replacement problems are a FAR CRY from 300 treadwear rated Nittos.

I don't know how much of a factor the treadwear makes, but you have to admit that an OE Wheel 17x11 w/315 combo is heavy. From what I've read, some guys don't even get a weekend out of a set of wheel bearings.

I was warned that the 11" wheels would play hell on the wheel bearings no matter what. I didn't even get to push the car last year as I was making adjustments in the suspension and trying to work out all of the kinks. I'm sure that I will go through wheel bearings no matter what after the car starts to get driven like it should be

I can't remember the exact weight, and I broke my nice scale before I could weigh them. IIRC they are 48-52# a wheel and tire

In my opinion, the lip on CCW's is what makes them so awesome. I also don't like any of the C10's at all, but to each their own.

A lot. The extra grip is putting a lot more stress at the point of attachment.

Thanks and to each his own, I hated the machined lips ever since the wheels went on the car. Plus on the front wheels the lip is trashed from the PO curbing them on everything known to man from the looks of them. The color really helps to cover up the rash

Yes, EXACTLY!! ^^^

The overall wheel/tire combo weight IS a factor on wheel bearing wear, but NOWHERE near as much as the grip/side loads excerted on them by super glue-like gumball tread compounds.

Should look good with the contrast of green and gold-ish, but i like how they were (black with polished lip)
