first time out with darkstars!! so i got some Racestar Darkstars for my cars this winter. got them mounted with
275/50-15 M/T drag radials on the back and nexen sb-802's in 165-80-15 for the fronts.
I think they look bad @ss!!!! ill get more pictures tomorrow.

so on my second pass I had a really loud noise when I hit 2nd gear. the noise was speed related and carried out all the way through the trap.
drove it home and remove the cover.... here's what I found

It is the 2nd gear hit that breaks them- I went through 4 sets of gear on my car before upgrading the rear end, everytime was hitting second. If you had done that damage on the launch- you would not have made it to 2nd.LOL

actually i ran it all the way out ran a 12.9 @111 it had a bad noise but was still pulling strong so i said f#ck! it i figured it was the rear end. and i drove it the 15mls home as well.
