I just bought a set of the subject wheels for my 99 bird. (supposedly they were from a 4th gen SLP firebird, it was sitting there when I picked them up).

Any way they have some light surface rust, but most of it seemed to come off with a good cleaning and used rubbing compound in the tough spots.

My q is how should I take care of these? Clean and protect. I have had lots of chrome plated steel wheels, I have had magnum 500s on all my old Mopars.

Is there anything different I should to to these to protect them?
