I run a 1/4" spacer in the rear with the 295's. I will take the spacer out if I decide to run 325's in the future. There is no way that mine sits closer to the edge of quarter panel than yours if we have the same wheels and tires. The math doesn't lie.
Me: 3" narrowed per side with 5.5" BS and .25" spacer. You can subtract the thickness of the spacer from the 3" that the rear end was narrowed which would be like having a rear narrowed 2.75" per side.
You: 2.5" narrowed per side with 5.5" BS.
My wheel sits in .25" more from the edge of the quarter panel than yours.

Oh, I thought you had 15"x10" Weld RTS's. They are actually wider than 10" (I think they are closer to 10.25") so that might explain the difference. Assuming they have exactly 5.5" of BS then that "extra" .25" would be on the outside lip of the wheel bringing it closer to the edge of the quarter panel.

Wow there sure is some mature adults in here, and some complete hilarity lol. Why should anyone give two flying ***** what you like or not? I guess you must be really important. It was said the point of this thread was just to give people another option with tire placement, but it sure looks more like a bunch of whining and self affirmation. If you can't make your point without belittling others, I feel sorry for you.
I personally like the tires more flush with the fender than tucked an inch into the fender, be it 18's or 15's, dished wheels or not. I have no desire to lower my car any further as it would be almost undrivable on the roads up here. The 325s on my car are a little too wide for the wells, and I'm running them because they came with a set of wheels I bought years ago and I haven't worn them out yet. Theyre just my street tires and just see cruising miles. I'll replace them with 295s when they're gone, and those will sit flush with the fender...just like the 28x12.50s that I run the majority of the time. My car works good for what I use it for, gets far more compliments than otherwise, and most importantly I like it (most of the time lol).
Sorry for the interruption, please carry on with the self righteous indignation.

Dont get all emo. I cant handle the z71 wheel well gap. On my truck, I like it. On your car, you like it. For those of us that like our **** down, flush or hella flush as some have made their cars, dont get the job done. Flush + lowered = cut up tires.

Not a 28" tall tire, actually just shy of 27" (305/30/19) on a lowered car and I think the look is just about perfect.

The point of this thread is that for years I have heard guys cry about how they cant lower their cars and they have the Texas Tilt after getting advice from this site on wheel selection. Then it transformed into general mullet/mexipoke love-hate of stock width rearends. While we are on that subject, why do so many guys think they need these huge wide tires on these cars anyways? guys running 11-12 second passes and thinking they need 28x13.5 et drags are totally different issue that also drive me nutty.
Anyways, back to the mexipokes. I think it looks SICK!

Mine sit pretty even up top, and theyll rub the lip on a hard turn with passangers. I HATE them sticking out far, and I dont car for them so far in. Ill roll the fenders to be able to keep them where they are, and when I buy a rear, how ever i narrow it, I want the drag wheels to sit the same way.
edit: actually mine isnt that bad right? lol
