i doubt your going to be able to fit a 335 on a 19" wheel under a firebird thats pushing it. 335's on my 17's is pushing the limit and there flush with the top of the fender. They do clear the stock lca's i just went to tubular and they gained some extra room there. If i get tires for the rear of the car i won't do 335's again i'll stick with 315's and get a wider built tire. The offset i'm not sure what they are on the ttm's 50 something? i don't recall.

Ok, so 315's on a 19" rim would be the best setup? And what should the wall height be? 30, 35, somethin like that?

what do you really gain from running a 335 vs a 315 tire? seems to me just a headache trying to make them fit.

That's kind of what I'm wondering to. Because to me it seems like 315 is about the biggest you can go without changing stuff around, and the diffrence between 315 and 335 seems pretty negligable unless the car is a stricktly built race car. Oh, and for the record, I am planning on going with tubular a arms, the entire spohn suspension setup in fact

You should check out the road racing section. I think even square 315s is overkill. A lot of road race/autox guys use 275 square or 295.

They look bigger under the back of the car :-p I didn't pay for the tires. I wouldn't buy 335's again just 315's

Sorry to resurrect one of my old threads, but I have a few new questions that still fall under this thread. Anyway, I'm set on 305/30zr19 tires all around, but am not sure what size rims I should run them on (aside from the diameter of course). For instance, what width rim should I run with 305's for the best performance of the chosen tires? And what offset rim should they be to tuck them into the car nicely? Like I said, I really like QCon's setup, so if anyone can get him in on this that would be greatly appreciated
