Default TT2 lug nuts

Looking for a set of locking lugs for my tt2s. I've made my decision on the gorilla ones but wasn't sure whether to get the "acorn" style, or the "acorn bulge" style. Will either fit? Will the bulge look better?

Bulge style should look better IMO.

Anyone have pics of both of them on TT2s? I figured bulge would look better but I'm not sure which type I have on there currently but I like the look.

Thanks for the pic furious. I think I wanna go little larger than the small diameter. Does the size have any effect on safety? Meaning a larger diameter lug nut would be safer and more snug on the wheel.

Come on guys, I need to order these asap!

Also, what's a decent torque wrench that's not going to break the bank? I'm not going to be using it all the time so I don't need a SnapOn.

They look like a bulge cone in the pic. I went with these: http://www.mcgard.com/part-search/pr...-of-4-lug-nuts

I was looking at those. I think I'll just do that. I found one with a lifetime warranty for very cheap.

For any future searchers that come across this thread, bulge cone v. a standard 60 degree cone is not a visual decision it is a safety issue.

Wheels designed for a bulge cone need to use that style as the seat area is too deep for a standard 60 degree cone. Standard will fit but it will sit counter sunk in the seat and will eventually work the edge of the cone into the seat creating a dangerous situation.

A bulge cone is wider and deeper than the seat area. It will fully engage the seat with overhang. This will also give you a correct torque reading after repeated use with an aluminum wheel.
