Default 19 x 9.5 45mm offset.

I am looking at wheels in this size on all four corners. I just want to make sure the dimensions above will result in the wheels/tires being flush with the fenders and quarterpanels.

That is why I am confused. All the wheel info I am reading says that 45mm offset is right in the sweet spot for front and back. But you are rubbing in the rear and say your rears wont work on the front. The rapps are only offered in 15-45mm offsets in the 19s, so I have to assume your rears are 45mm. I just cant wrap my head around it lol.

Not all wheels are the same. Many people have to do fabrication or the use of spacers with some wheels and sizes. My wheels are were a complete bitch to get to work (and I still don't think it is working yet).

If you want something that will work, go with a set of OEM wheels or wheels you know someone has on their car that they did not have any problems with.

I have 18x8.5F's/18x9.5R's 35mm offsets, my t/a is lowered also & my rears are pretty much flush with the rear quarterpanels but my fronts tuck in a little because im lowered & my fronts are 8.5 so unsure how a 9.5 on a 35mm offset would sit but if your lowered imo go with 35mm offset in the rear im unsure about the front since I have 8.5's!!!

I think that might be the big issue for the OP. he wants them all to be the same but I think he wants them wide. You can put a wide wheel in the back, but when you try it up front you just don't have the room.

If you want the same all the way around I think the widest you can go safely is a 18x9.5 with a 35mm offset. I think you can get C5 wheels in that size that are deep dish. It's when you step up to even larger diameter wheels like 19" that you start running out of clearance big time.

I've got an appointment today with a body shop to see if they can figure something out for my 19's in the rear.

Have you tried a small spacer in the rear to keep them from rubbing?

I don't want the wheels to stick out which they will with a spacer. From the amount they are rubbing, it would need to be a large spacer, and even then, I don't think it would clear.

The body shop has my car, and they can cut and weld in new metal to create more room in the rear wheel well. It's a bit of work, but they cut me a deal at $375. The bad news is my rear tires (confirmed at 285/30ZR19's) have rubbed enough they are damaged, and the tire shop won't warranty them as they warned me that the wheels weren't supposed to go on the car, so looks like I'll need another set.

Im not sure what is going on with your wheels CALL911. But I just got my Rapps in. I bought 19x9.5s for the back and 19x8.5s in the front. I put the 19x9.5s on the front just for kicks and they fit fine. Nice and flush with the fender and no rubbing. They also fit on the rears with no issues. So, I am not sure how you are having all of these problems. I am sending these 8.5s back and getting 9.5s for the front so I have the same all the way around. This is with 285/30 tires and 45 mm offset.

Not sure. If yours fit fine, you probably got a different size or offset than me.

Tires are the problem. If you're running a tall *** tire it will rub. Wheels don't matter as long as the offset is right for the given width.

For example, 7, 8, and 9.5" wide wheels can all sit flush with the fender. The offsets are 13, 25, and 45, respectively. The only difference is the inbound clearance grows smaller as the wheel gets wider. Therefore, any issues between any of these would be tire height or tire shape since that changes where the edge of the tire sits in relation to the wheel.

Btw, 19x9.5 45mm front is slightly inward. You can get upto a 39mm with a 9.5" wheel.

Just make sure you run a 275/30-19 up front.

Quick Reply: 19 x 9.5 45mm offset.
