Obviously F-Bodies did not come with staggered wheels or those bigger than 17", so is there any advantage to staggering either the wheels front vs. rear?

I can see some advantages to a wider tire in the rear vs. front, but what about staggered wheel sizes? Some online shops sell them that way for Camaros...

There's no advantage to going with taller rear wheels, it's strictly for looks.

From a handling perspective, a car with a square wheel and tire set up will handle more neutrally, the 4th gens I've driven with wider rear tires tend to push through the corners pretty easily. However, for straight line traction the wider rear tires will obviously be better. In your case, having different size wheels would purely be for looks.
