Default 17x10.5 torq thrust m guys come in

I have 17x9 wheels on the back of my car now but want to put 17x10.5's on the back. Was looking to order them from summit or somewhere if i could find them cheaper. But would these work.

Size: 17'' x 10.5''
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 4.75"
Rear Spacing: 7.5"
Offset: 44mm

I will probably run 315/35/17 nittos on them
And will probably run strano lowering springs too.

Will the tires rub anywhere with this setup? I really dont want to do the bfh mod or roll the fenders if at all possible.

Anyone had any experience with this setup? Thanks!

What about lowered cars? Anyone have any rubbing issues with these on a lowered car? And thanks for the replies!

depends man, you will just have to test fit. more than likely depending on how much drop you will have to do some hammering

Just get a adjustable PHB and re-center the rear after lowering, any rubbing that you might have would most likely be on the fender lips.

315's lowered recommend adj. panhard bar and some slight hammering on the inner fender well. I had to do this with my sumitomo tires.

i used to have them on my firebird. same sizes you mentioned. mine had sumitomo 315 on the back and did not rub at all, even while auto-xing. i'm now running 17x11 w/ 315 nittos all around and still not rubbing anyplace lol.

With Strano's and Koni's I rub taking super hard corners. I also have upgraded spring cups as well.

fenders probably wont need touching. you may need the bgh just for a wack or two i did it even tho i barely had any rubbing but it made me happy.

i'm running 315/35/17 nitto NT-05s front (with a 10mm spacer) and back with Strano/bilsteins. no fender rolling or hammering at all.

it does not rub at all unless i'm at full lock, then the fronts bearly rub the fender liners in the front. no rubbing under cornering at all. i auto-x the car so it is definitely getting thrown into corners hard.

2002 Trans Am WS6
American Racing Torque Thrust M 17x9 (Front) and 17x10 (Rear) with Nitto NT555 P275/40ZR17 (Front), Nitto NT555R P315/35R17 (Rear). No spacers, stock wheel studs. Koni 4/4 shocks with Strano Springs all around with an adjustable panhard bar (to center the rear) and lower control arm relocation brackets. I have made absolutely no modifications to any of the fenders and I have never experienced any tire to fender contact.

UPDATE to my previous post. I replaced the Nitto NT555R with NT05R 315/35R17. The car is lowered as I mentioned before (Strano Springs, 1.2 inch lower than OEM). Still no tire to fender contact.
