Default 295/55/16 MT Radials on stock salad shooters.. PICS!

They are slightly stretched, but overall fit well with no modifications. I can possibly forsee having to dent the inner fender as there is about 1/4" of room and possibly moving the rear about 1/4" fwd via adjustable LCA's to compensate for "growing" under acceloration....but as of now they dont touch anything

Perfect timing. I am looking at doing the exact same thing.
They look great.
How do you like them?
Is it setting off your abs light?

I literally just put them on the car today, I havent drove it yet. They are 28" tall tires so they will probably set off the abs light on any other car, mine doesnt have abs anyways.

So did you have to BFH the inner fenders, or use wheel spacers?
NO mods to get them to fit, its a tight squeeze, I'm going to test drive it tomorrow and see if it rubs anywhere, but as of now its good. No spacers either. I can take some more pictures tomorrow.

I was running BFG Radial T/As on mine long time ago and they rubbed a lil, so a small amount of massaging will be required.

The recommended and approved wheel sizes for that tire is 16 x 8"- 10" wide.

Sometimes even at stock height the rear still isn't centered; if it is then great.

So what you have on it for front runners?

stock sized tires/salad shooters. Looking into getting my extra pair narrowed.

just curious why you went with the 295 over the 255/50/16. Did you want a 28in tire over a 26in?

More sidewall, and the 295's are wider by 1". Also keeps the rpms down while cruising(didnt have anything to do with why I picked them)

This is really interesting.

Is this for more of a street setup for grip? Or will this run at the strip as well?
I've got 4 firebird 16s kicking around, but i use 17x9.5 stockers for MT E.T streets i got from a buddy for the track.

Looks killer. pretty stealthy if someone wasnt paying attention on the streets.

I dont drag race this car at the track, just mess around on the street. Most people blow the car off because it is an LT body style V6 RS car (originally), so they never think anything of it. Its a cam/bolt on LS1 with a 200 shot on it.
