Default Billet Specialties street lites/street lite blacks on a 02 SS camaro

Should I run the 15s front and back or 15s back and 17s up front or 17s front and back. What do yall think looks meaner/better and more performance in the straight line?? Street Lite Blacks or Street Lites?? Opinions.

As far as "performance", I wouldn't get a drag wheel/tire setup and run 17's in the back. Get 15's for the back so you can have some more sidewall on the tire get better traction.

As for the front, I think that 17's look better hands down. Performance wise I couldn't tell you the difference. I don't know whether they would weigh more or less than the 15's with tires etc. I would think that the 17's are heavier and have more rotational mass, but the tires on the 15's will be heavier than those on the 17's. Idk lol. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

And what color is the Camaro? I think the Street Lite blacks look kinda cheesy, the normal version looks better IMO.

I run the BS 17s front and back... but I plan to get 15s for just the track (front and rear to reduce weight and provide more sidewall in back). I run a 315 drag radial on the street in the 17s.

^^I was agreeing all along until he got to the "cheesy" part
I went 17x7 and 15x10 see post 163 and 168 in https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...uote-pics.html
And the 15" DR are cheaper and more choices.

The car is a 02 LE SS ===Red. I think the blacks look great but the regular street lites look awesome also and cheaper. Buddy i know has a Black SS 454 chevy truck with the 15 inch street lite blacks and looks very good on it. Any more opinions??

Yeah the blacks are about $50 more each, but I thought it tied the black parts of the car together. Fronts are 225/50-17 and the rears 275/50-15.
The 17x7 are 4.5 bs and the rear (F-body specific) are 7.5 bs. Everything bolted on perfect. You can't go wrong with either of the Billits, but as said I think the blacks tie in the sail panel, berger, and tinted windows.
