wheel spacers I'm sure this has been touched on but are 8mm spacers that unsafe? When i bought the car it had c5 wheels and the guy at the tire shop told me they were unsafe. I understand the lug issue but 8mm isn't much. Although I'm sure some will say it is, just wondering.

the largest slip on spacer i ever used was 1/4" so prob 5 or 6mm that was fine. if there cheap get them and see how much the lugs go on. and just use good common sense. if it seems iffy than dont use them.
