Wheel opinion???

Wheel opinion??? Just ordered a set of Z06 motorsport wheels from Thunder Racing. I was hoping for everyones opinion on these. I had to order stock size 17 x 9.5's beacuse the 18's that they sell are 10.5" wide, and I didnt want anything that wide. Let me know what you guys think about these: They will be going on my black 2000 SS vert

Why would YOU ask why I am asking opinions after I bought them? I asked for an opinion on the wheels, not why i am asking for an opinion. If you dont like the wheels then just say so. If you dont like me asking questions, then dont read it.

I like those wheels myself but 2slow is right, 18s are the only way to go, anything bigger hurts performance and anything smaller looks dinky. ****, my 10 spokes with a 285/40 all round looks small till you get up close. I personally would try to get an 18" forged wheel if you can afford it.

Yeah, i wanted 18's, but they dont make them 18 x 9.5's yet.....only 18 x 10.5's....and I think that its too wide all the way around......and besides, I am not trying to go broke buying tires......military buget, gotta shop for the best deal......

I think the wheels will look good on your car. I myself would have prefered 18's but I understand your reason for the 17's. On another note, hope all goes well for you and Iraq, and alot of us over here appreciate what soldiers like you are doing for our country!!

99, thanks brother, not a problem....that is our job. Yeah, I love the look of 18's, but I just dont want to spend the money for tires!!!! But I am hoping by the time I get back, that no one around will have these yet.....we'll see, Sept is right around the corner....the first day i get back, I am putting these on, then I will come home and put the rollcage in, then the heads/cam, intake, and everything else
