I am wanting to run a slightly smaller or narrower tire on the front of my WS6. Was wondering if anybody has done this and what size did you run. I tried searching with no luck. I am planning on staying with the 275/40 for the rear. Was wondering how a 255/40 or maybe 255/45 would look?
Any help or feedback on this would be much appreciated!

You could go as narrow as a 245/45 and still fit the stock 9" wheel, and this will be almost exactly the same overall height as the stock 275/40s. I personally don't feel that a 245mm tire properly fills out a 9" wide wheel visually, but that's just a matter of opinion.
255/40 would be a little over a half inch shorter than stock, so there would be less sidewall than the rear tires and the front end would drop about a quarter inch (as well as an extra quarter inch gap between the top of the tire and the fender).
255/45 would be nearly a half inch taller than stock, so the front would be raised a bit, the fender gap would be filled a bit, and the sidewall would be bigger than the rear. Personally I think it wouldn't look good to have a taller tire in the front, but again, that's just my opinion. If you want to do 255/45 up front, then I would suggest going with 285/40s in the rear. This will even up the overall tire height, and 285s will fit the stock wheel without issues. The 255/285 combo was stock on some years of C4.

Stick with OE 275/40/17's brotha. No benefit to the narrower tire except they are a little cheaper...but for the small savings, its not worth it. Plus you can still rotate if you keep the same size all the way around.
