I was on their website and kind of like the Classic 4 wheels. 17 inch wheel runs anywhere from $475.00 to $525.00 depending on how wide you need.

Depends on what you want... I seriously considered the CCW Classics in 17x9.5 and 17x11... mainly due to the weight and performance of the wheel. Plus, when the centers are anodized, those look insane.

And going with a 17x11 that's under 20lbs with a lot of meat on it, you will handle better and get better traction. Going to a 15" gives you more traction but less handling. So the 17s are a good compromise there. The 19x11 or 20x11 have almost no traction, handle well, ride worse, and are mainly for looks.

So, depends on what you're end goal is.

Correct. A wheel consists of many parts, including the hub, spokes and the rim. The rim is the outermost part of the wheel that the tire mounts to.

When you hit a pot hole, you do not bend the hub. You do not bend the spokes. You bend the rim.

Gotta be honest, the 19x10/20x11 setup I have is not bad at all when it comes to traction/comfort. Of course, that has a lot to do with the tire, but it is not a complaint of mine at all.

I agree. When I owned those wheels, my tuner said he couldn't believe that a 20 inch rear wheel/tire hooked up as well as they did. That was with 440 rwhp.

You've never seen the potholes here in the snowbelt.....some are so deep, you probably COULD bend the spokes!!!

Missouri is the same way. The roads here are horrible. I love traveling down south. The further you go, the better the roads get. When I was in Georgia and Florida, I thought I was in heaven.

I have changed my driving habits a bit, I avoid the really trashed roads as much as possible.

So T-10's and 505a's are three piece wheels with an OUTTER LIP? Come on man, you're killing me lol

Here I'll dumb if down for you...calling wheels rims makes you sound like a ******* idiot.

I'll reiterate it for you...what rule book says you have to run a 30 series tire???

And lastly, it would take a ******* pretty big pot hole to "bend" a Forged aluminum wheel like the ones you're "considering"

^^^ He is right about the wheels you're looking at OP as being one piece wheels, which I stated earlier in this thread. You bend any part of that wheel and it requires you to buy a new one. If they were CCW Classics (3 piece wheels), you can replace the damaged part and not the whole wheel.

Listen ***********. Since you are so incredibly intelligent I will try to make myself sound less dumb. I never claimed the t10 or 505 was a three PC wheel. Look at the previous post where I called that out. A rim is a simple definition of the outer area of something circular. I would run a 30 series tire because I would use a 275 wide tire. This will keep my overall diameter close to factory, no speedo Calibration. No I don't want to run 295 or 305 because frankly it looks like too much tire and isn't necessary for the street.

Whatever decision you make, make sure you let them know you want the front wheel to sit a bit flush with the fender..that is unless you like your wheels to look really tucked in..I don't and hated the look..soo much that I ended up getting hubcentric spacers for the front. Biggest grin on my face the day I put them on but at the same time, upset that I didn't say something that I thought would go without saying when I ordered them many years ago.

Below is a set of T10's on my Vette, 18" front and 19" rear. I just installed new brakes but weather is not cooperating for new pictures. I just ordered a set of 505A's for the Camaro. I think both wheels look good, it's just preference. You might want to look at the 505A Hybrid. That's what I wanted but I wanted 18's on the Camaro.

I've always loved the way the T10's look on a Vette. Not as good on a F-Body, but still nice.

I believe there is one out there. I remember searching a few years ago before I got my CCW 505a's.
