Default Racestar question.

I am looking to get some racestars but it looks like there are some different styles.

I am looking to get some 15x8s or 10s... Not sure yet.
17x4.5 in the front.

Maybe a stupid question but I want the wheels in this pic.

Why do the spokes look "wider" on these?

They look the same to me other than the top pic looking like it has 17" front runners.

The top pic, front runner looks like it has about a 1/2" thinner spoke where it connects to the rim.

The 17s are going to have thinner spokes because they have to stretch out more to fit the barrel. The 15s will look like the silver ones in that picture.

That may be true for the some of the 17" fronts, but if you opt to go wider, then the 17's are the thicker spoke. Not sure what the cutoff is.

OP, looks like anything narrower than 17x7 has the thin spokes, but 17x7's and wider have the wider spokes.

Had to grind the rear calipers a little but no big deal. The offsets are standard fbody offsets. I don't remember what they are.

I'm not sure on the 15's, but here are the 17x9.5s and 17x7s.
