X2 on price range and what is the intended usage? Drag? AutoX? Show? Do you want to run wider tires? Etc...
Personally, the CCW and Fikse wheels look the best on these cars. But you're in the $2400+ territory for those.
Weld RT-S and Billet Specialties Street Lites are popular as drag wheels and regular wheels. They are light and more cost competitive. 17" Welds run about $1800 and the BS 17" are in the $1200 range.
Whatever you pick, I'd at least look at weight. Wheel weight in the enemy and it really makes a difference in how the car handles and performs. Reproduction wheels are typically much heavier than stock.

OE wheels are about all you're going to be able to afford new. You may be able to find a set of used wheels in the classified section on here. TTII's look good on F-Body's and are likely the nicest aftermarket wheel in your price range. I've just never been a fan of OE wheels.

yeah in that price range oe wheels is a good option. they are heavier, but quality is good for the price.
there are tons of better options but the cost goes up fast.
finding a used set of pricey wheels isnt a bad option.
best aspect of OE is u can pretty much get any style u like, some people dont like vette wheels on Fbody but i do.
