New Z28 wheels

Is it possible to run the new z/28 wheels on my 99 Transam . I think it would be bad *** , and with some C6 Z06 breaks .

I believe they have the same lug pattern to bolt on. Different offsets I'm pretty sure. The Gen 5 wheels I've seen on 4th Gens just don't look right to me.

The rear offset is too small and the wheels will bulge outside the fender wells.

There was some one on here with a trans am convertible with a wide body kit and even then the zl1 wheels were a bit too far out of the fender

The lug pattern is technically not identical. For similar money you could probably get a properly sized and backspaced wheel from one of the aafternmarket companies.

Does anyone have the backspacing specs for the z28 wheels? I'm guessing they are slightly different than a stock ss. I personally wouldn't run a 120mm with our 120.65mm lug pattern, I know lots of people have had good luck but I wouldn't feel comfortable beating on something that wasn't meant to fit.

front 19x11 11mm offset
rear 19x11.5 26mm offset

The 5th gen hubs are much smaller than fbody hubs. I received a free set of base model camaro 18inch heritage wheels and they wil not fit without some serious spacers or being re honed, neither of which are worth the investment for a cheap set of wheels.

The offset makes them impossible. But the z28 wheels are 19's which are common for people to put on fbodies.

also the wheels i believe are on the list of parts you can't buy. didn't they make a bunch of the z/28 parts unavailable so that no one could make clones. i know the brakes are on that list, and the aero stuff

^^ yep, Z28 wheels are harder to get than a date with Mila Kunis. And guys selling them over on Camaro5 are asking 4k+

The replica wheels are 20x10 and 20x11 to match the 1LE/ZL1 spec wheels, the offsets are also to match the 1LE/ZL1 wheels. The guy said he had no plans at this point to do 19" versions.
