Default 15x10 28" lowerd Trans Am backspacing inquiry

7.5 bs and that is close. Found some wheels I really like and can afford, but, 7.25 back spacing is the max they go. I have been told buy a valid source that even rolling the fender would not clear a 28" wheel. I have a lowed TA and am gonna raise it a little for clearance issues and want to go skinnies and fats. what is your experience with Back spacing+lowered car+28" tire, pics will help.

Even with 7.5" backspace with a stock width rear axle, that is sometimes not enough. Trans Am fenders "bow" out a little more than Camaro rear quarters, so it's usually easier on Trans Ams, but I wouldn't try 7.25" backspace unless you're doing like a 28x9.0 tire.
