Overall diameter difference between front and rear tires, how much is OK?
As well all know, having different overall diameter differences between the front and rear tires can have adverse affects on the ABS and the traction control if your car has it.
I am looking into buying the new C7 Z06 wheels from OE Wheels with 17 x 9.5 fronts and 18 x 10.5" in the back. I currently have ZR1 Wheels, 17 x 9.5 in the front and 17 x 11 in the rear. Both the 275/40/17 and 315/35/17 have an overall diameter of 25.6" and therefore cause no issues.
I was hoping to use my same front tires on the new wheels since they literally have only about 200 miles on them. When looking at tire sizes for the rear wheel, the only logical tire choices are either 295/30/18 which has an overall diameter of 25" or 295/30/18 with an overall diameter of 26.1.
So...will that cause havoc with the ABS (my car doesn't have traction control) or will it be fine? Seeing how OE Wheels sells lots of different wheels with the same size combination, I am assuming there won't be any problems?
I'd probably go with the 295/35/18 to more closely match the look of the sidewall height of the front tire.
Thanks for any insight!

I had no issues at all using a 25.66" front tire (275/40/17) and a 25.98" rear tire (285/40/17). So I'm sure you'd be fine with a 26.1".
Personally I wouldn't want a rear tire diameter to be smaller than the front, this would look less than ideal IMO, so I would go with the taller option rather than the shorter option.
