Default Nitto 555R tire pressure for street runs

Having some issues getting traction around the 20-50mph range.

Nitto 555R's with great life left.

Rears are 305/40/18 (28")

3.42 gears
3600 FTI converter
Car makes 525rwhp on a 100 shot.

Running them at 18 psi but not getting awesome traction.

Do I need to do a big burnout first, i was under the impression after some street driving they'd develop some heat in them and get sticky.

I had the best luck with mine at 18-20psi. Dont think any lower is gonna help traction....sounds like you are at the limit of the tire.

Having over 500 rwhp on nitrous isn't helping those Nittos much lol. I used to run mine at about 22-24 on the street

I ran mine at 20-22 on the street and 18 at the track with mine.
