Ive gone onto welds site and searched this wheel, and it does not give an option for a 15 x 10 with a 4.5 backspace.
Yet ive done searches and it appears plenty of people have them. Im under the impression that a rear end narrowed 3" on each side, can run a 4.5" backspace and NOT need to be mini tubbed...just the use of a BFH. Am i incorrect on this?




Are the 4.5 backspace that size a custom?

Yes they offer it with a 4.5 backspacing. Part#71mb-510B45A let me know if you need anymore info or want to order them.

Yes they do make 4.5" backspace in a 10" wheel. And yes if you narrow your axle 3" per side the wheel will sit exactly where it does with a 7.5 backspace wheel with a stock axle. In other words you would be fine.

I believe they are technically listed as 10.25" width, so if you're searching on summit it won't show up. Just went through that a couple weeks ago.

Hello guys, I have a 2002 trans am and looking forward to buy some 18 in welds s71 with 4.5bp but can't seem to find them. Anybody know the part number for them? Or do I have to call to make the order? Thanks in advance
