Please help me confirm my thoughts
Thinking of purchasing ADR M sport wheels for my 2000 Firehawk (White) primarily street use, just going for looks.
See post #68 https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...hem-18s-4.html
The specs are 18x9.5, 5X 120.65 ,35 mm offset with 73.1 mm centre bore.
I plan to run 275/35/18 and 295/35/18 (wont die if I have to go to 275), lower the car (probably 1.2") and do Brembo 4 or 6 piston brake swap.
I realize that I will need a hub adapter but think the offset will be OK.
Concerns -
1. Will the wheel/tire combo look flush with the body or stick out too far?
2. Will I have sufficient offset to run the Brembo brakes?
I know the ADR are not the greatest, but have spent tons of dough on wheels on other cars but I seem to go through cars quickly and don't think I truly recoup the costs.
Thoughts, opinions anything I'm missing???
