Default Need fitment advise please

I'm coming back after 7 years...
I have a 2001 Trans Am convertible that I'm putting back on the road.
What's the biggest tire set up I can go with that doesn't need any mods except maybe a spacer to fit. I don't want to bottom out or rub at all.
Also please throw out your wheel and tire sizes
Thanks

Definetly hit up the wheel and tire guide in the forum, would be the best section to start out.
For wheels, 20s depending on design are about as big as you want to go without sacrificing all handling unless youre into "donking" but i wouldnt.... 18/19" seem to be the best compromise, as there are tons of vette and vette replica wheels out there that fit. As for widest, ive had 17x11 wheels with 299s and 305s in the back. Some bumpstop modding and wheel well "messaging" is required. 275 is a good daily front width, and some have fit wider but you start limiting your rim selection and rubbing insues.

Not all true. I run a 315 on my SS Camaro, lowered and have no issues at all. Same went on my 94 Bird before it. Now my 19x12's with 325's definitely needed room to fit so I bfh, trimmed bumpstop brackets, rolled fenders and had to have tubular lcas

True, not ALL 11" wheels will neccesarilly need BFH but the majority usually do once you start going wider.
