Default fender flares?

has anyone had their rear fenders flared? I always thought that would be because not only would it look GOOOOOOD, but it would also let you put a REALLY WIDE tired out back.

Just my opinion, but i deffinately wouldnt want to do it. I think it would look ugly as **** and theres really nothing keeping you from putting really wide tires out back w/o the flares.

Maybe if you had a quarter panel that was flared out some, I think the ZL1 Camaro had something done like that and they fit 335/30/18's on it.

I found a Us company many months ago that had a flare kit for the rear only. I was more interested in a front kit so that 11" rims would fit better.

There is a UK company that makes a "body kit" for competition purposes.

The aero package is pretty sweet on this car ... a front breather, splitter and has a body pan. It creates a LOT of downforce and slips through the air with minimal drag.

It was one of those groups that provides aftermarket flares for 4x4s ...

I didn't keep up with it because they didn't offer anything for the front ... sorry.

Those flares are the ones on the New GMMG Dick Harrell Commemorative Car. I would love to know where they got them also. I guess a call to GMMG is in order.

The "wide body kit" on the Dick Harrell car looks like the same as the C5R GM Performance parts Camaro to me. I Have wanted to do that since the first time I saw the pictures. If I could find this "kit" for sale I know what I am doing to the car next!
Was the Dick Harrell car a one off or did they make a series like they did for Berger and Tom Henry?
We need to see if we can get someone to produce these and sell them to the public.
Anyone have connections with GMMG to see where this "kit" came from and if we could get our hands on it?
I want it BAD!

They're doing the Dick Harrell now. I think they debuted it on the 28th of last month or something..

so the question is how does a person go about getting those flared on their car (don't want the rest of the BS.......thought the 427 is "kind" of cool )?

Here we go:
I'm not sure if there is a sanctioning body that has
approved the flared fenders yet. Flared fenders on the street would be a great addition to any Camaro!
