Default Will 17"/18" C5 wheels fit Z28?

Hello. I really want to get the 2000 Corvette C5 style wheels (either chrome or aluminum, haven't yet decided) and want the 17" x 8.5" fronts, and 18" x 9.5" rears. Will these fit my Z28 without any rubbing or turning problems? Also, would 295's or 315's work better for the rear? Thank you.

Yes. A spacer might be needed. 295's will fit better.

Thanks. Not to sound like an idiot, but what exactly are spacers, what do they do, and where can I get them?

Spacers are used to "space" the wheel out further. They come in different sizes, so chose the one that will work best for you. About where to get these spacers, I'm not sure. You could try ordering them from your local tire and wheel shop.

295's are not designed for a 9.5" wide wheel. Tires 265 front and 275's rear. They'll fit. Need to keep the offset no bigger than 50mm and all will fit like OEM.

Ok, cool. Good to know. Where did you get the T/A shift **** for your SS convertible? Thanks.

UPDATE: I found out that the offset on the rear wheels is 65mm and the front is 56mm. Does that mean that these will be a problem?

YUP. 65 mm will not fit.

As for the TA ****. First one I got from a junk yard, but it was a little rough so I ordered one from the dealer. Direct swap.
