ZR1 wheel question

ZR1 wheel question Was wondering if the true OEM ZR1's 17x11 come in just one offset or did they make more than one? Came across a set for a price that you just cant pass up for a hard to find wheel. Its just I have seen some cars where they seem to sit flush,, but then have seen some cars where they stick out the fenders. Any info is appreciated**

Only Grand Sport and ZR1 had 11" wide rear wheels stock.
Collector Edition had 9.5" rear wheels. These "ZR1" styled wheels never came in a 17x9 size on Corvette, that was F-body-only sizing. C4 sizes were 17x8.5 (front), 17x9.5 (rear), or 17x11 for the GS/ZR1.
Also, the true ZR1 wheels didn't come in a "deep dish" style, they had deeply recessed lug holes with spokes that were flush just like the fronts.
Aftermarket reproductions of the 11" wheels have come in multiple styles and offsets, including the deep dish version, the deep recessed lug version, and at least two different offsets.

GrandSport ZR1 style wheels are black and have a 50mm offset.
True ZR1 wheels are silver with a 36mm offset. The 36mm offset will sit flush with the top edge of the quarter panel, but sticks out at the bottom.
AFS used to make a good replica in a 50mm offset I believe. All the new replicas have squared-off spokes and look very different than the GM wheels (to me anyway).

It seems that nobody makes an accurate replica any longer, even the 17x9.5" versions have that different, "squared-off" spoke design. Also, I think it's been many years since anyone has reproduced them in the original F-body sizing of 17x9, 50mm offset. All we have now are the C4 Corvette rear sizes (9.5"/11") with C4 offsets and squared spokes.

Verdad Gallardo Yeah, I really want some 17x11's for my 96 SS but the only options are to get some grandsport wheels and have them powder coated to match (very unlikely they would match 100%) or find a set of the old AFS replicas. I'm not sure how well the AFS replicas would match either
