This. I recommended the tq's for a street tire, but I have a pair of Hoosiers for the track and they are hard to beat. I wouldn't drive with them on the street, but that's just me. They'll wear out way too fast.

A local guy has a pair of them on his C5Z.

The car in question has a 383 AFR headed stroker with a ~3liter Whipple on it. They work surprisingly well on the street and I'm willing to bet that combo makes twice the tq you do in a lighter car.

My buddy has the Hoosier drag radials (225/45/17) on his 02 C5Z. He runs consistent 11.80's with 1.6x 60ft on that little *** tire lol. All he has done is headers and the tires.

Sidewall and compound are more important than width to a certain extent.
My camaro made 400ish wheel and would boil a 315 nitto555 in third

My mustang makes almost 800 wheel and will dead hook in a car wash on a 275 et pro

Id look into the hoosiers or new mickey thompson etrs if you want something that will hook anywhere
