Question which size DRs would be best for my combo?

ok here it is fellas I would like is some suggestions on tire size? just some opions and feedback ok so heres my mods

2002 WS6
stock shortblock
stock intake and heads
RPM 5 cam
FLP long tube headers with 3" Xpipe dynomax bullet mufflers
TSP lid paper filter
Yank 4200 stall with a built 4l65e
Umi panhard bar and relocation brackets and lower control arms
stock 10 bolt with 410 gears

now my best 1/8 ET is a 7.49@94 with a 1.7 60ft that was with 323 gears and MT 275-45-17 DRs I have had a set of MT 295-45-17s and I liked the way they looked on the car but never went to the track with them, I now have Toyo TQ DRs and even though I haven't gone to track with them I don't like the way they look on my Z06 wheels? anyway I have been thinking about buying some of those OE C7 Z07 17x9.5 wheels in matte black and going back to the MT 295-45-17s so will my ET be better of with a 275 and the 410s or will the bit bigger 295-45-17 negate the 410 enough to be more like a 373 ???

I dont think its gonna make a ton of difference either way. I'm wondering though, you're 60ft looks a little lazy and you're mph in the 1/8th is definitely strong. I guess I kinda expected the opposite for this combo.

well honestly that was a few years back and those runs were done on BFG DRs, stock suspension and with 323 gears not the 410s just to clarify.

compared to the MT 295-45-17s that is, the MT filled up the fender well without touching and gave the car a slight raked look(if im explaining that right) whereas the Toyos for some reason look small oh and my car is lowered but not sure which springs it was that way when I bought it

I might be missing something, but what were the sizes of the Toyo tires? The MT ET's if i'm reading it correctly are a physically wider and taller tire that would/should give you better traction (contact surface and roll out traction) off the line and the 4.10's should negate the potential laziness off the line you might have experienced with the 3.23's.....

If you like the raked look, the larger tire is for you for traction purposes and looks wise. Another tire to look at that I HAVE NOT tested are the Hoosier DR's. My buddy swears by them and I have read a decent amount of reviews on Ls1tech as well with good results.

Good luck with what you choose!

the Toyos are 275-40-17s they do look a bit smaller then the MT 275-40-17s though and they sure don't hook like the MTs and yes the 295-45-17s do give it that raked look plus will easily support the RWHP from my car and should support he nitrous hit as well
