Time for Tires
Thanks for any help....Rob
Traction is excellent, wet or dry. Cornering is outstanding.
Tires look great mounted on the car- sweet profile, excellent tread wear rating. Do like the rim protection bead.
Bought mine through Georgia Tire Depot in Marietta, Ga.
Cost 630.00 installed- mounted, filled with Nitrogen and balanced. Sure beats the price of some of the other brands.
Let you know how they work- heading to Pensacola this weekend for a run with some buddies to Panama City Beach Cruise-In.
Thanks for what all you guys are doing in Iraq- you have alot of Vets behind you. If you are ever in the Atlanta, Ga. area when you return-look me up- I'll buy you a beer. Be safe, stay low and move fast.

If not, use tirerack to do a comparison. I found best tire for my $$$ was the Pirelli PZero Nero in 274/40 17. See sig
I had the BFG KDWs before and loved them. The Pirrelis are comparable with more tread life and they give you a clue if you are stretching the tire to it's limit on a corner where the BFG KDW would just break free.
Also, the Pirelli are All Weather and better than the KDWS. The only thing better with the KDW was the wet traction and the was marginal.
I got my Pirellis at Discount Tire for 600.00 installed and worth every penny. Tell Discount Tire of the tirerack price and that you are a member at ls1tech.
IMO the Pirellis will do you best...
Also, I have some 16x8 rims I use in the winter with Yokahoma Ice Guards, I will be testing them this next year

You should definitely give them a try!
