Weld RTS question.

I've decided to do 15s on the rear and either 17s or 18s on the front. I'm running CTS-V brakes up front so 17s might not fit. Anyway the rear is no big deal that's pretty easy but the fronts I want to do a skinnyish set up but not so skinny it is dangerous. The question is would a 6 inch rim handle decently as opposed to like a 4.5 or 5? Should I do 7 inch up front? The car isn't a daily driver but does get driven a decent amount but I'm more worried about doing a highway pull and not being in control.

Cliff notes: how skinny should I go and will a 17 clear my front brakes with the high pad option?

I don't know about the 17 inch RTS, but there is someone on here running a 17x4 racestar front with CTSV calipers/5th gen rotors with no spacer, etc.

That's pretty cool. I still haven't decided on whether I want to run skinnies on a daily driver or not.

Iirc if you get 17" weld rts for a 5th gen camaro they will clear the ctsv brakes as the 5th gen camaros have the same brake setup. From my memory this is what stangklr did on his silver 4th gen.
