Default C5 Deep Dish - 17" or 18"

I'm getting ready to order new wheels for my '96 Trans Am and have decided on the C5 deep dish wheels. I am undecided on 17" or 18" at this point. I LOVE the look of the wheels on the Trans Am in the pic below.

Does anyone know what size the wheels are?

I PMed the guy who I think owns it but I haven't heard back yet.

If I had to guess i would say 18x10.5 in rear and 17x9.5 in front.

Here is my 18x10.5 rear and 18x9.5 front

Thanks for the reply. Those actually look a little large for my preference. Needs more tire relative to wheel. What size tires are you running?

18 x 10.5 rear......315 tires
18 x 9.5 front.....275 tires

My rear wheels were recently widend to 12.5"....getting 335 tires.

But beware of OE Wheels if you get chrome....their chrome plater in China SUCKS. 6 months and the chrome is trashed, falling off and chipping everywhere.
I sent mine to get stripped and re-chromed by a real chrome plating company. If you try to get them covered under warranty, they will tell you that brake dust caused it.

I really like the polished but don't see that as an option. Did you get those through OE Wheels?

Not bad at all. Run a cone polishing adaptor for a drill with some mother's billet metal polish and good to go.
I don't think I even hit them once last season

Those pictures were from a few seasons ago. I now run Et streets.

I liked the nt05r a lot and if I never went to the track that's what I would run. They handle a bit better than Et streets.
You get more miles out of the Nt05r but they do not hook as good as the Et streets.

They are all around a very good radial.

I've got the c5's in 18's and I'm on 2" Strano springs. It works for me!

Neither of those two are staggered. Orange car is 17" and the black car is 18". I am leaning towards going with the staggered though.

Set up looks great Dave, are those polished or chrome? Hard for me to tell from the pic.

18s are the way to go for these cars in my opinion. Not too big, not too small.

Thanks, they are the chrome. I have had them for about 5 yrs now and no problems with the chrome at all. I have to agree 18's are perfect!

I'm thinking I'll probably do 18x9.5 / 18x10.5 and run 275/40/18 fronts and 305/35/18 tires. I like a little more sidewall than most of the guys running 18's and really like the 18s with those size tires. They're within 1% diameter so I should be good for ABS/TCS. Front has a slightly taller sidewall, unfortunately, but only by 0.13" so hopefully not enough to be noticeable.

Sorry if my response is late to the game but, that first picture you posted is from a member named Hollo. They are 18x10.5 & 18×9.5
