I'm on the same boat. I'm looking at Mickey Thompson DR 275/50/15. Never had anything but street tires before. If anyone has recommendations please let us know.

If you are actually putting miles on them, the Mickey Thompson Street S/S Radial is pretty good, but Hoosiers and M&H's are known to hook better

Nt555r - icky

Nt05r - hook good, handle great for a radial, get good milage out of them. Horrible in rain on highways

Mt ET street - hook awesome, handle ok, don't get as many miles out of them as the Nt05r. Horrible in rain on highways.

Mickey Thompson drag radials is the best out there. Been running them for years. Pretty much tried them all, and always came back to MT's.

I've broke a lot of **** running radials with an M6. It was also far from consistent. I made the switch to bias ply and won't be going back.

Im really looking hard at either M&H or MT's as soon as my R888s go bald.

Mickey Thompson Pro Radial... best 26x10.5" radial out there.

The NT05R don't hook for **** on the street. Even at 20psi and some heat in them, first gear is completely useless. At the track at 14psi with them melting from really long burnouts, you can cut a 1.5x with them. Otherwise, they do handle pretty close to a regular street tire.

I'm going to do the 17" M&H next for my street tire. And run the MT Pro at the track on 15s.

I may try that 315 size OEM Nitto drag radial that the new Dodge Charger 9 second factory car uses...on my 10.5" wide rear rims.
