I used a Krylon silver for a base and then sprayed the same brand metallic over that. You want to "dust" the metallic on from about 12" away to keep fro mottling the finish. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and didn't expect much from this. It was a car I was flipping so, didnt really care either. It turned out waaaay better than I would've thought. Degreasing and prepping surface is a must. All i used was a red scotchbrite to scuff it with.
