Default Drag tires.. Hoosier bias ply or..

Does anyone have any experience with Hoosier Quicktime dot treaded bias ply tires (275/50/15's) will they hook anything like a full slick at the track, because I have a new pair sitting here wrapped in plastic that I bought back in 2014 that I never used, and I want to run my Camaro (in sig) down the 1/4 soon to get some runs in as a cam-only ls1, before I step up the power.

Should I not bother with the Quick time hoosiers and just buy a new pair of slicks? or will traction be similar between them?

The QTP (quick time pro) is just a slick with groove. The QT (quick time) that i have, have more of a street style of tread, less contact area than a QTP or full slick
