I currently have a staggered setup, and I'm replacing my wheels. I want to go square.

What is the widest tire I can run on all four corners, assuming:

• It's a 2000 Trans Am
• 18×10.5+40 is the wheel spec
• I'm lowered 1.25"
• I have zero interest in taking anything resembling a bat or hammer to my car

I'm running 18x10.5 weld RTS's on all 4 corners of my car, offset is +50. rolled rear fenders and a little inner wheel well massaging to fit, don't think you are going to be able to avoid that. I've seen guys on here running 11" wide wheels as well.
