Default Need to make a tire decision tonight.

Long story short I bought a 2001 trans am with the tires looking awesome. Just went to the tire shop and they told me they were made in 2006 so way past the lifetime of the tire. I have a road trip coming up this weekend and need some new ones to drive them safely.

The shop (discount tire) gave me three options
1. Nitto 555 G2 $823
2. continential extreme sport $1028
3. sumitomo HTR z iii $300- with the catch that they are used for 1 month by someone for roadracing. Inspected the tires and they look good.

All prices include install and warranty- even the used ones.
I know the difference in price is huge and I dont want to just cheap out and have to buy another set in a year... but then again I dont want to waste money if I dont need to.

Anyone have any advise or reviews of these tires? What ones would you buy?

EDIT- they will be used in summer only and will not be in the rain unless I get caught in the rain. also the size they have in stock are 275/40/17
Thanks for the help

Nitto NT555 G2 for sure. Had them on my 01 WS6 and they were smooth and surprisingly quiet for a directional tire. The grip was decent when the car was stock.

G2's hands down. Heard nothing but good things about them as an excellent all around tire that hooks surprisingly well in dry conditions.
