*^#@ wheel studs stripped, how to replace ? I discovered three of the wheel studs and lug nuts are stripped on my front pass wheel. Thank God I found it the "easy" way instead of losing a wheel driving down the damn road...
One of the last places that worked on my car and took the wheels off must have put them back on with an impact gun and stripped them. There are metal shavings and strips everywhere.
How do I fix ? How do the wheel studs come out of the wheel ?
I can pick up new studs and lug nuts and replace them, just need the scoop on how they're removed from the wheel... Please help !
