2000 was the only year they made a 16 inch prostar NON-XP! You're pretty lucky, there aren't many around. They are much lighter than the XP's. You need to grind the outer edge of the caliper a little bit. I did mine in about 5 minutes on each side with and iron file.

When you did yours did you have the WS6 calipers. I ground down one caliper last night quite a bit and it still rubs. I will work on it again tonight. But it just seems like it does not want to play nice in the sandbox...

There are no difference in the rear brake calipers on any of the 98-02 Cars. Didn't matter if it was a V6 or WS6. I know you got your work done at HPA, if your in the north burbs, I can show you what I'm talking about.

I also have weld prostars 16's and still needed to grind some. Not a whole lot, but just be sure your grinding on the part of the caliper that is causing the interference. I kept grinding more on the radius when it was actually the tab like thing thats sticks out that was causing me problems.

Rub a marking pen on the outside of the caliber. Mount the wheel without nuts and rotate it by hand until you see exactly where it rubs. That's where you grind.
Don't grind anymore than necessary but remember when the calibers heat up they do expand and the clearance lessens.
